An Ariston dishwasher that’s not working properly can be a nightmare. But there are common problems that can be fixed without the need to buy a new appliance. Identifying the issues will produce solutions, and may only need repairs or replacements of certain parts.
Tracing and correcting these faults are simple jobs for experienced appliance repair engineers, but it’s handy to know what may be causing your dishwashers troubles. Error codes are designed to help find the faults – see an Ariston dishwasher troubleshooting guide here…
Freestanding Full-Sized Dishwasher Code Data
Ariston LBF dishwasher problems have codes that are accompanied by flashing lights. A range of Ariston dishwasher error codes are explained below:
Ariston Dishwasher F01 Error – LED light 1 On
This error message indicates that an anti-flooding overflow is taking place. This may be related to a failing rubber gasket around the dishwasher door, a defective water inlet valve, or a faulty float switch or sensor. The float and switch sensor is activated by pressure and if faulty will need to be replaced.
Ariston Dishwasher F02 Error – LED Light 2 On
A failure within the hot water fill solenoid valve will cause this code to display. This operates the drain valve when the timer control applies an electric current to it during the drain cycle. Signs that point to this problem include slow filling, not filling at all, or draining continuously in an endless cycle. Other components that need assessing include the impeller jug and the water chamber.
Ariston Dishwasher F03 Error – LED Lights 1 & 2 On
When the dishwasher is unable to drain water error code F03 will show. Reasons for this happening may be the drain hose is blocked or the filters dirty. The drain pump could be damaged, or it could also be a problem with an obstruction in the sink drain.
Ariston Dishwasher Error Codes F06 – LED lights 2 & 3 On
This code implies issues with either the water fill function – possibly due to water supply or water pressure problems. Alternative checks will need to be made on the fill hose, inlet water valve, impeller jug, and the water chamber.
Ariston Dishwasher Error F07 – LED lights 1,2, & 3 On
When the water turbine is damaged this will be the error code sequence and the water turbine, also known as the impeller jug, will need to be replaced.
Ariston Dishwasher F11 Error – LED lights 1,2 & 4 On
If the wash pump fails this needs a professional repair. The pump may be running but not pumping any water, or it may not operate at all. Clogs in the pump assembly can be the cause of any damage. The motor will need to be checked alongside the motor capacity, and the seal on the main pump will also need to be investigated.
Ariston Dishwasher F15 Error – LED lights 1,2,3, & 4 On
This error code is informing you that there’s an issue with the visual sensor. This component senses how clean the water is from detecting particles during the rinse. When the water runs clear the cycle is stopped and the dry cycle begins. When the sensor malfunctions the dishwasher simply continues to run.
Ariston F15 error and troubleshooting may also be related to drainage issues – the drain pump or hose may be blocked – manually draining will confirm if the sensor is malfunctioning.
