Ariston dishwasher troubleshooting
Error codes may be shown in a variety of ways depending on the model of your appliance. The following codes and LED light sequences are simply a guide:
F01
Ariston dishwasher F01 error indicates an anti-flood sensor fault and this is typically caused by a leak. LED light 1 will be on with lights 2, 3, and 4 off.
F02
Ariston dishwasher F02 error shows a failure of the water fill solenoid valve, the impeller jug, or the water chamber. Checks will need to be made on the water supply, the water inlet valve, and any restrictions on the flow rate of the water as all these issues will cause this error to display. In this instance LED light 2 will be on with lights 1, 3, and 4 off.
F03
Ariston dishwasher F03 error points to a water drain failure or a time out issue with the pump. This can be caused by obstructions in the pump or the pump housing, or blockages in the drain hose. The pump may also be faulty and need replacing. The LED light sequence will show lights 1 and 2 on and lights 3 and 4 off.
F04
Ariston dishwasher F04 error is a thermostat fault so this component will need to be checked alongside the wiring to the thermostat itself. LED lights 1, 2, and 4 will off with light 3 on.
F06
Ariston dishwasher F06 error means that there’s a fault with the water fill timeout. This can result from insufficient water pressure, incoming water supply issues, or a problem with the water inlet valve. The fill hose may be kinked or obstructed or the impeller jug malfunctioning. LED lights 1 and 4 will be off, with lights 2 and 3 on.
F07
Ariston dishwasher F07 error is a damaged or faulty water turbine (impeller jug) that may need replacing. You’ll see LED lights 1,2, and 3 on with light 4 off.
F08
Ariston dishwasher F08 error is a temperature timeout fault resulting from a failed heating system element such as the thermostat or heating sensor. LED lights 1,2, and 3 will be off and light 4 on.
F09
Ariston dishwasher F09 error is a software error fault and the main control board will need reprogramming or replacing. The LED lights will show 1 and 4 on and lights 2 and 3 off.
F10
Ariston dishwasher F10 error shows a heating element fault and this part will need to be tested and replaced as necessary. In this case, the LED lights will show 1 and 3 off, and lights 2 and 4 on.
F11
Ariston dishwasher F11 error indicates a wash pump motor failure and the motor and the motor capacitor will need investigating for faults. Occasionally the motor can seize due to the seal on the main pump failing. With this error corresponding LED lights will show light 3 off with lights 1, 2, and 4 on.
F12
Ariston dishwasher F12 error indicates a display communication and main control board error fault which may be due to a defective board or loose wiring connections. LED lights 1 and 2 will be off with lights 3 and 4 on.
F13
Ariston dishwasher F13 error is a main control board fault resulting from loose wiring connections or a defective main control board. You’ll find LED lights will show 1, 3, and 4 on with light 2 off.
F15
Ariston dishwasher F15 error is a visual sensor error fault and all LED lights 1-4 will be on.
